So the little fellas kept a visual diary of the family visit, recording funny memories in a small book.
It was also useful in keeping them busy and occupied, especially during Easter Mass.....
Smiley's version of Easter Mass, to the right is one of the pimped up cars parked outside the church, not sure who is the large man on the left, he wasn't sure either.
Bunny's version of Mass, that is us sitting on the pew wearing our Ulu's (lei's) and a dog walked through. He also added the view out the door and the choir singing behind us.
This is Smiley's image of Grandma in her fale at Aganoa watching the boys swim.
Bunny's image of him teaching his Aunty to snorkel
Smiley's image of Grandma and Aunty taking photos of Churches in the car.
Bunny's rendition of our Kayaking expedition, with Smiley diving into the ocean.
Smiley's record of our BBQ at Tafa Tafa, he is squirting our friend Michael with a water pistol.
Bunny captures a tranquil evening dining at Apia Yacht Club.
Great drawings, better than pictures I felt like I was there!!!
ReplyDeleteThanks, It was interesting to see the drawings improved as each day progressed, just goes to show, practice is important. I loved the little details they included of things I didn't notice or would have easily forgotten.
ReplyDeleteOh what clever kids, and what a good way to keep them amused and make memories last.
ReplyDeleteWe are having a cold snap here, it doesn't get past 14 during the day, so it's a bit of a shock to the system.
Good to hear you had a nice time with visiting family.
Thanks Margaret, they are good boys, who love their Grandma and Aunty. I had a look at your blog and funnily enough we are also from Queensland. Looks nice where you are.
